What to know about an eSIM for Europe

When should I buy an eSIM for Europe?
In advance, at home on Wi-Fi: the QR code arrives right after payment, and the plan's validity starts with your first connection to a network in Europe — buying early wastes nothing.
Will my main number keep working in Europe?
Yes. The eSIM only handles data: your home SIM keeps working, calls and texts arrive as usual. Turn off mobile data on it to avoid roaming charges.
What if I run out of data?
Buy another plan in the app — it tops up the same eSIM profile, no reinstall and no new QR code.
Does my phone support eSIM?
iPhone XS/XR and later, and most recent Android flagships. Check in settings: “Mobile data” → “Add eSIM”.
